Students living three to a room

     As of right now more than 2,100 students are living in the residence halls. To compensate for the overload of people, a number of students are being placed three to a room in some areas. At this time all the residence halls, except for Clark and Harrison, have a few rooms that are three deep.

Students get the big sex talk

"Sex Rules" program presented at Red Skelton Theater

From her life experience growing up in a sexually "hush-hush" environment, Maria Falzone understands the importance of having "the talk" with kids at a young age. She said at infancy, which changing a child, the parent should explain the parts. She stresses that families should not keep sex in the dark, because bad things grow in the dark.

Vincennes Wal-Mart hosts first ever college night

Guitar hero, Oreo stacking, and free pizza among activities

Through out the night games and prizes were set up in various places around the store. Pizza given away in the cloths section, corn hole played in the health and beauty, and guitar hero competitions were lined up on all the TVs against the back wall in home electronics. There were also businesses with booths set up as well, handing out coupons and gift cards for their restaurant or store.

Local wares no longer available

The store space of local business Beatnik, a small used record, book, and local art shop looks a lot less welcoming these days. After a year in operation, the local business is closing its doors as of Sept. 1.
